Pension Technical Support - Cirencester
We are currently working with a FTSE 100 Wealth Management company that offers quality, face to face wealth management advice to clients across the UK. They are recruiting in a number of areas to support their continued and successful growth. Their head offices in Cirencester is seeking a professional to join their technical pension team.
Their technical pension team provides general support in relation to the products and services offered by the business, in particular around pensions and retirement planning. The support provided is to other employees of the business, and therefore, you do need to give financial advice to the general public, however, you will need to demonstrate a profound knowledge of pensions to be able to successfully support the advisers that do. The majority of the day will be spent answering enquiries via email or over the telephone. You may also be involved with the creation of technical marketing literature, assist with the development of colleagues within your team as well ensure that your own knowledge remains current and up to date.
To apply for the role you must hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent), have experience of pre-retirement and at retirement planning and the tax treatment of various products, you must have an excellent telephone manner and written communication skills, have strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines, be a good team player and have a strong work ethic with a sense of personal responsibility.
Holding pension related exams would be seen as an essential requirement, and ideally, already Level 4, you will have the desire to work towards Level 6.
