A fast growing, investor backed business in North Leeds is recruiting a Billing Supervisor to join the finance team.

Based in exceptional offices and easily accessible with ample parking on site, the site in Leeds is the head office for the European operation, providing a niche product to a diverse customer base in a growing market.

The Billing Supervisor will report to the Senior Finance Manager and lead a team of Billing Clerks responsible for the sales administration process and customer billings across the UK and Europe. The monthly billing process requires the production of consolidated invoicing for large, corporate clients, and controlling the automated invoice process for monthly subscriptions.

In addition to running the billing process, the Billings Supervisor will be responsible for validating sales orders and working with the commercial team to ensure accuracy of price, quantity and rebates. A significant part of the role includes working with operational teams internally and customer points of contact to resolve billing queries.

Specific duties of the role include:

  • Responsibility for accurate and timely billing of all contractual revenues
  • Management of a team of billing clerks
  • Monthly reconciliation of billing to contracts
  • Management of bespoke billing terms for key customers
  • Resolution of internal and external billing queries
  • Authorising contractual changes including upgrades, amendments and terminations
  • Responsibility for the creation of customer accounts

We are looking for someone with previous high volume billing experience that can demonstrate accuracy in handling and manipulating data, combined with strong written and verbal communication skills and an analytic mind-set with the ability to unravel complex queries in a logical way. Ideally you will have strong Excel skills and previous team management experience.
