***Experienced Year 3 class teacher
***Future responsibility for literacy
***Birmingham Primary School
***Position starts September
***New Senior Leadership
My client primary school, based to the south of Birmingham, are currently recruiting a year 3 class teacher to join them on a full time and permanent basis from September.
The school has gone through a fairly tough period recently resulting in some changes in personnel. However, they now have a well respected and experienced professional that is leading the school, formulating action plans and injecting new energy and enthusiasm. Under this new guidance the school should develop in to a quality teaching establishment.
Having visited the school, to spend time with the new Headteacher, I was impressed by her commitment to raising standards and the methods she is using to turn the school around. She appreciates that the school can only improve through the recruitment, development and retention of good teacher; teachers that have a genuine desire to provide a fantastic educational for all their pupils.
The successful candidate will join the school as a year 3 class teacher as well, if appropriate, as taking a lead on literacy, ensuring the whole school is meeting attainment levels in this area. The school aren’t able to support an NQT at this time so it is essential the candidates have at least two years post qualification teaching experience.
This position requires a teacher that has the desire to really make a positive impact on learning, a teacher that isn’t afraid of hard work and a teacher that isn’t looking to work in a perfect school. Make no mistake this position is a challenge but one that will be undoubtedly rewarding as you join a school at such an exciting time.
If you’re an experienced teacher at Key stage 2 and are free to start work in September then please email a copy of your CV to Patrick at Edustaff.
