Pay: £26,500 - £35,500 + HCA

Location: West London

We are recruiting for experienced band 5 and 6 Occupational Therapists to work within a rotational role in a West London hospital. Rotating across general and neurological inpatient rehabilitation, this permanent role is ideal for a band 5 looking for their first band 6 job, or a band 6 OT looking to step up the career ladder whilst gaining valuable experience in elderly rehabilitation.

This is a great opportunity to improve your skills and experience within the field of rehabilitation through providing high quality, client-led, goal focused rehabilitation to patients in a friendly and supportive team. You will gain invaluable experience in supervising junior staff and students, and opportunities to develop and progress your career through regular internal and external training. You will also have regular supervision including 1:1, peer supervision, appraisal and in-service training.

Job Summary:
*To provide specialist occupational therapy interventions using evidence based, flexible and patient-centred approach, working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to meet the rehabilitation needs of people who are referred to our services.
*To assist senior staff in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Rehabilitation service.

To be considered for these roles, you must have:
*Occupational Therapy Degree
*HCPC Registration
*Appropriate post graduate experience within the NHS including physical rehabilitation, care of the elderly, falls, orthopaedics and neurology
*Understanding of splinting in patients with neurological conditions and postural management
*Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment in field of physical rehabilitation utilising a range of approaches and use of outcome measures
*Knowledge of the evidence base of intermediate care rehabilitation relating to falls, orthopaedic, cognitive, neurological and general conditions.
