Are you an experienced social care or housing manager who is looking to work in a challenging role with a not-for-profit organisation?

As Extra Care Manager you will provide full management support to an extra care housing Service in Sunderland. Your Management experience will be ideally within extra care and housing, but we will accept applications from Managers from Elderly Care, Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services

The ideal Manager will have experience of managing busy work loads, varied staff teams and challenging environments, and there is an expectation for the successful manager to be proficient in IT systems

Salary £34,000

The Role:

- Managing an extra-care/supported housing service to an excellent standard
- Registered Manager of the service
- Rotas, ordering, repairs and all other housing related queries
- To provide leadership to staff to provide an excellent service for clients/service users
- Managing performance to ensure all budgets are met
- Using IT systems to order supplies, complete payroll and submit reports

The Successful Candidate:

- Resilient and approachable manager
- Someone who is proficient in IT systems
- Experience of working in a similar role, in a similar social care or housing service
- Can-do attitude
- Able to work away from home on occasion
