Badenoch & Clark are working are currently working in partnership with a highly esteemed company based out of Crawley towards the appointment of a Senior Finance Business Partner. As a pivotal member of the senior finance team, you will be accountable for the delivery of divisional management reporting and insight, you will also be a key point of contact for the Head of Finance.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be required to provide exemplary strategic business partnering support across all P&L areas as well as up-to-date insight as to the underlying performance of the business. As such, you must be pro-active, headstrong and strategically minded in order to maintain a hands-on approach and constructively challenge decisions thus improving processes across all tiers of the company.
Key Accountabilities:
*Provide strategic finance business support primarily to the Head of Business Finance but also to Senior Leadership Team.
*Have a clear understanding of the interplay between current and future performance (budget, forecast or business plan) and be able to crisply explain the crossover.
*Share best practice, emerging industry trends, benchmarks and commercial impacts which may inform, influence or aid the understating of current and future performance.
*Act as an interface between Finance and the business areas. As such, you'll provide expert advice and analysis that adds value to the department objectives.
*Contribute to the development of departmental strategies, providing financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
*Provide robust, thoughtful and analytical finance support to the business to drive improvements in financial performance and support strategic development.
*Provide financial support, leadership and review of all business cases and investment decisions that have a P&L impact, ensuring that consideration has been given to any financial, service or operational impacts.
*Be effective in presenting high-level analysis and performance conclusions to the Senior Leadership Team with a view to influencing long-term decision making.
*Work with divisions to understand and articulate the cross over between departmental operational and strategic plans.


*You must be CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualified
*Excellent systems/PC skills (MS Excel to high level, MS Access, MS PowerPoint.)
*Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
*The individual will need a good level of financial and business acumen, and be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and manage their own workload effectively.
*A high degree of influencing skills supported by strong analytical skills.
