About the Company:

A well - established independent Energy management and Consultancy firm providing services across all areas of utility management.

About the Role:

Working as a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for bill validation, cost and consumption reporting services to clients. The role will be varied and specific duties will include;

  • Maintain Optima database information accurately
  • Ensure paperwork is scanned and filed appropriately
  • Obtain invoices and data in a timely manner in readiness for periodic reports
  • Ensure emails and reports are filed as necessary
  • Review admin processes and propose ideas for improvement
  • Understand and adhere to operational processes and procedures
  • Ensure data completeness for client portfolios
  • Scanning and uploading of relevant information
  • Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to ensure the CRM system is maintained accurately
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain information and resolve queries
  • Raise cases and queries for exceptions or issues
  • Generate reports to manage workload
  • Build knowledge of the energy industry and develop an understanding of queries resolution
  • Build effective relationships with suppliers to ensure queries are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Report and complaints following the agreed internal process
  • Support the wider needs of the business as and when reasonably required

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role of Data Analyst, you must possess the following;

  • Experience of working as a Data Analyst OR a recent graduate with an associated degree
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) to include Maths & English
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an analytical biased subject would be desirable
  • Knowledge/experience of Optima would be an advantage
  • An interest in working within the energy industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Results driven with a methodical approach
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Good PC literacy - particularly in Excel

Salary/Benefits Information:

Basic salary is up to £23,000 p.a (DOE and possibly negotiable)
