The school benefits from working in a trust of outstanding schools and there fore has an exciting and engaging curriculum. The SLT are fantastic and use their network of schools and governors to the schools and the teachers best advantage. It is well resourced and has a really positive learning environment. The Maths department had their best year recently and are looking for a Maths specialist to take over from a retirement.

The role..

Your role as a Maths Head of Department here will be to take charge of the department and drive it forward, striving for the very best results and outstanding teaching. You will be assisting NQT's and experienced Maths teachers in their teaching and planning of their schemes of work. You are expected to show your passion for Maths and bring your experienced and people management skills to the next level.

The candidate..

You will need to be a qualified Maths Teacher and have two years experience e teaching Maths up to Key Stage 5. You will need to have a formal degree and be prepared to lead by example. Being a team player and a people person is a must. Knowledge of running a department and creating schemes of work is a must.
