CAS Behavioral Health is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist behavioral adult healthcare services.
We are currently recruiting a housekeeper to join our team at Broughton Lodge.
Located in beautiful grounds, Broughton Lodge is a grand Victorian house which is a specialist residential home for young adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those we look after.
Job Role:
A key skill we are looking for in a housekeeper is to get involved in creating and maintaining cleaning regimes - daily, weekly, periodically etc. for the Home(excluding kitchen, for which Chef has responsibility)
We need someone that is able to liaise with the Manager/supplier when ordering cleaning products, report on their effectiveness as well as undertaking monthly stock checks and ensuring safe storage.
Our housekeepers at Broughton Lodge aim to maintain thorough cleaning of all areas/equipment of the Home is carried out, excluding those maintained by the Kitchen Staff.
Safeguarding risk assessment /safety of workplace experience is not essential as training is given.
Ensure cleaning schedule is maintained and documented evidence is completed and to undertake any necessary training including COSHH/Mandatory Training etc.
About You:
Having knowledge of COSHH, electrical cleaning equipment is not essential as training is given on site. It is important to have an understanding of and demonstrate personal hygiene.
As it is an environment with face to face contact with residents, we need someone that is confident and has the ability to assist residents with daily living skills.

Specific Requirement
Please note – this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as you will be in contact with vulnerable adults. Therefore all candidates invited for interview will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and any offer of employment is subject to successful clearance.
