I am currently representing a fantastic 47 bed home, set in a residential location of Kilmarnock. The home is central to all amenities and in close proximity to the town centre, and provides residential and nursing care on long or short term basis. The grounds at this beautiful home are well landscaped with access to a sheltered patio which opens directly from the lounge/dining room into a secluded garden. This home aims to cater for every requirement to ensure that all residents have a relaxed and comfortable stay.
They are looking for someone who is able to administer medication and have a good clinical knowledge including a knowledge of working with those with dementia. Someone able to establish and maintain good relationships with professionals, residents, their families, and other colleagues, along with external bodies and commissioners. The nurse will be expected to provide coaching, training and support to junior staff.
The successful candidate will be able to act fast, make decisions quickly and ensure residents are cared for at all times. They are looking for a Qualified Nurse with an active PIN, who is able to administer medication and has a good clinical knowledge.
The Hourly rate for this role is £14.50 Per Hour, to cover 38.5 hours per week, which is 44 hours one week and 33 hours the next. As an incentive, the company will pay £500 on start of employment, £500 after 3 months and £500 at the end of the first year. Along with providing lots of opportunity for progression and development.
