With the support of your line manager, assigned ‘buddy’ and wider network, you’ll enjoy learning that will serve to further your knowledge of dunnhumby and the markets they operate in.

The Graduate Scheme is carefully segmented to ensure you obtain a comprehensive view of all of dunnhumby’s UK I&T functions. You’ll join the Capability Team, dunnhumby’s subject matter experts, as part of your first 6 month rotation, before moving on to a second 6 month rotation in a more Technical discipline. Your final 6 month rotation demonstrates dunnhumby’s investment in their graduates by combining your interests and strengths with dunnhumby’s business requirements, you will work with your manager to find the right role for you.

Across every rotation:

- Aligned to a Capability team (Category Management, Customer Engagement, Customer Knowledge or Price & Promotion) or a more technical discipline (Data, Development, Product Management) you’ll thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Working across various different departments, you will be required to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.

Capability Rotation: 

- You will work across global teams to create Capability case studies which can be used for future client pitches and business development
- You will take ownership of the Capability team information site to enable knowledge sharing
- You will support the creation and implementation of global collateral for capability training
- You will work across different functions supporting product development
- You will assist in compiling a category playbook which will outline approaches and best practice to ensure the market teams have access to one single repository for that capability

Technical Rotation:

- Across your rotation (Data, Development or Product & Innovation) you will get exposure to the technical functions that make up dunnhumby.   Across all rotations you will be required to build your own thorough knowledge of our dunnhumby’s technologies and processes.  
- In the Data space you will be part of the team responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining our data solutions from the receipt of client data through to publishing of marts for use by analysts and products.  You will develop and modernise our data platforms and be a point of contact for queries on the design of the data warehouse.
- In the Development space you will be assisting in the advanced and complex software design and development in primary technologies using Agile ways of working.  You will also assist in unit and integration testing of software stories and modules.
- In the Product Management & Innovation space you will gain first-hand experience of translating client needs into requirements that are developed by our software teams.  You will be responsible for supporting the Product Manager in understanding client requirements and translating these into product backlogs and user stories.


- Educated to a 2.1 degree level standard from a top tier university
- Preferably educated in a STEM related discipline - particularly maths/physics/computer science/computing
- An analytical approach
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate commercial acumen
- Ambitious and driven
