The Company Accountant will be responsible for all accounts and finances from start to finish for the Ormskirk/Skelmersdale site. Reporting into the Group Finance director, responsibilities will include full monthly management accounts production, VAT returns, cash and banking and transactional ledger work.
A bespoke group of companies located across the North West. This will therefore offer future, local opportunities for the Company Accountant to progress throughout the wider group and at different sites.
The Company Accountant will hold the following day to day duties:
- Monthly management accounts production
- VAT returns
- Site cash and banking
- Budgeting and forecasts
- Purchase and sales ledger control
- Cash flow reporting
- Produce year end accounts alongside FD
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to work to tight deadlines and in a standalone manner as the Finance Director will be based at a different site. You must also be hard working individual with a 'can do' attitude. The Hiring Manager will look at part qualified CIMA or ACCA studiers as well as those who are qualified by experience. Experience of using Sage is highly advantageous.
