My client is a global Banking software company based in London . They have a role for a senior Payroll Accountant .

You will be an experienced payroll accountant looking after all aspects of payroll for 5 entities, based in the UK, France, Luxembourg, Germany and Australia, with the support of local payroll bureaus.

Key Responsibilities

• Submitting payroll information to 3rd party payroll companies for approximately 100 employees in 5 different countries;

• Liaise with outsourced payroll contacts, raising queries as necessary;

• Liaise with local HR contacts in UK, Europe and Australian offices to gather payroll information;

• Check and reconcile payroll reports;

• Post payroll journals into Finance system, Epicor;

• Manage pension contribution submissions;

• Process manual and online benefits;

• Maintain accurate detailed benefits calculations for payroll deductions;

• Monthly commentaries on payroll cost variances versus budget;

• Prepare P11D and PSA annually for UK;

ESSENTIAL

1. Previous payroll experience

2. Able to communicate issues and resolution effectively

3. Team player with willingness to help other people

4. Experience of finance systems (Epicor would be an advantage)

5. Good system skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

6. Strong organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
