The governors wish to appoint an experienced and talented SENCO to lead and co-ordinate the SEND provision across the school. You will be responsible for co-ordinating, and some delivery of, KS3 and KS4 Foundation Learning as well as targeted literacy, numeracy and specific SEND interventions. You may be required to teach a primary curriculum to specific students in the KS3, and a Level 2 qualification from the approved list to KS4 students in the Foundation pathway. You will monitor and evaluate the impact of your SEND team and the provision that you implement to support students. You will be responsible for developing robust plans that continue to improve SEND provision across the school.

Ecclesfield School is an all-ability, co-educational 11-16 school. Situated on the north-east edge of Sheffield with good transport links to central Sheffield as well as the M1, our current roll is 1750. Please see our school website for more details.
