This is a fantastic opportunity to be working for my client who is based near Braintree. Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to bring in new business in the Home Counties area. This is a brand-new position so an excellent platform to shine, mainly field sales based so it would suit an experienced sales person looking to make the change from office based to field as a Development Manager to launch our client’s new product range in the UK

Requirements and attributes: -

  • Ideally sold into B2B in the UK, selling a product rather than a service
  • Ability to chase up and convert leads into real business, nurturing relationships and turning new opportunities into a loyal customer base
  • Tenacious, ethical well-presented and good at managing time, as this role will require someone who is organised as you will be setting your own appointments and does not need micromanaging
  • Working from the head office 1 day a week, to liaise with the team, growing your book of business, as well as working closely with your line manager to strategise future activity
  • Clean Licence

This is a New business role but would include visiting existing customers to encourage further buying as well as those who have not ordered in a while. Our client wishes to grow across London and the Home Counties. These individual needs to hit the ground running & really create an impact quickly and be responsible for maintaining and growing sales revenue

Salary- £22,000 per annum, pool car and mobile + Bonus, 20 holiday plus bank holidays but 5 of these 20 days must be banked for the Christmas shut down and ample free parking
