The SENCO Person Specification
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you must be a motivated SEN specialist ready to take on the challenge of working across the whole-school on their SEN offering. The school is hoping for an experienced Teacher who is able to understand the best way to communicate with pupils and effectively demonstrate their SEN practices through a variety of mediums. The SENCO Role
In this exciting SENCO position you will ultimately be taking control of the development of SEN learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include supporting the IEPs of all SEN pupils by providing the required resources needed for inclusion, and day-to-day you will be monitoring and evaluating your pupils progression and liaising with necessary agencies that can assist in your work. You will get to review and amend the SEN curriculum offering also, and liaise regularly with a Head Teacher who cares passionately about the success of her special needs students.
