We are looking for a talented Fabric Technician to join our team.

Chapter Kings Cross is a contemporary, connected and lively community of almost 1000 students in London’s zone 1. In the cultural heart of Kings Cross, this modern building has far reaching views across London and some of the world’s most famous business neighbours.

Chapter Spitalfields is a vibrant, innovative community home to almost 1200 students. 33 floors high, with several residential apartments and retail outlets also located on site, it offers modern living with breath-taking views of the city's incredible skyline.

As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high standard of decoration and minor repair tasks across the building(s), gardens and grounds, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, fully functioning and well maintained place to live. You’ll work Monday to Friday with shifts between 8.00am and 7.00pm; with Saturdays and emergency on-call on a rota basis.

As the successful candidate, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role; undertaking multi-skilled repairs, maintenance and decoration in a domestic residential environment along with a relevant trade background (e.g. multiskilled maintenance/repair, painter/decorator).

You’ll be a strong communicator and have a passion for great service to be able to support the Property Manager to meet our obligations to operate a safe building. You’ll be someone who takes pride in the work you do - you’ll also be proactive and can work on your own with the aptitude to determine the most cost effective solutions to repairs without sacrificing on quality.

Salary up to £26,000 - £28,000 per annum plus bonus and company benefits.
