Children’s Residential Support Worker

Location: Greater Manchester

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £15,570.00 - £16,275.84 per annum (dependant on experience and qualification). Each sleep shift will be paid at the rate of £60.00.

Halliwell are a social enterprise that offer a clinically informed practice encompassing residential, educational and clinical services.

As a valued member of our team, you will be re-parenting children aged between 4 and 12 who have suffered from trauma. On a daily basis you will be delivering our Restorative Parenting® recovery programme. You will be supporting and caring for children who can display complex and challenging behaviors in our therapeutic residential care home by meeting their social, emotional, cultural and educational needs. You will be set daily tasks from the senior therapeutic parents which will include maintaining a safe, healthy and homely environment for our children. You will also assist in the day to day running of the home including domestic duties. You will work closely with our senior therapeutic parents, clinical and education teams to help provide tailored psychological recovery programmes for each child. Team members will receive extensive training, be supported throughout to develop their career as well as receiving competitive rates of pay.
