Professional organisation based in Crawley seek a Systems and General Ledger Supervisor to join their existing team  Reporting to the Financial Accounts Manager this role will be responsible for ensuring that the financial accounting records of the Group and subsidiaries are properly maintained, up to date, accurate, complete and in accordance with internal management reporting processes as well as the statutory and regulatory requirements.  You will also ensure accounting data is processed efficiently and effectively and that internal and external clients receive a quality service in all respects.  You will also be expected to acquire detailed knowledge of the accounting process and be a point of contact for those queries.  Specific responsibilities will include:
*Supervising day to day operations of the expenses, supplier payments, national cashiers and general ledger teams to ensure the department continuously achieves objectives
*Ensure workload is covered at all times
*Assisting with resolving of internal and external issues
*Lead team on process changes
*Providing team training
*Review and reconciliation of key general ledger accounts
*Review and improve current processes, systems and procedure in the depart
*Assisting with year end budgetary process
*Provide assistance in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
*Liaising with auditors at year end
*Ad hoc reporting and project work
Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and have excellent IT and be able to communicate at all levels in a professional manner.  Strong supervisory experience is essential as is the ability to meet details whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
