Care Coordinator required in Portsmouth for busy Domiciliary care agency. Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00

Your new company

A busy and vibrant domiciliary care agency based in Portsmouth, Hampshire are hiring a full time permanent Care Coordinator to join their established team. As an experienced coordinator, you will be assisting the Registered Manager in the planning and implementation of care for the people they support within their own homes in the Portsmouth area. Currently there are 35 Carer's on rota and they are currently supporting individuals for around 800 hours per week.

Your new role

Your new job as a care coordinator is to play a vital part within the administration team. It is the responsibility of the Care Coordinator to assist the Registered Manager to organise the day to day running of the service provision through the Policies, training, supervision and guidance provided by the Company. As the Care Coordinator, your role will be to support the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Company and achieving the level of quality in the service provided to the Service Users in accordance with the Company's prinicpals.
You will also be marketing the services provided by the Company and liaising with commissioners, prospective Service Users, health professionals and other agencies connected with training and development of the service.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed you will need to be an experienced Care Coordinator and have previous experience within a domiciliary care agency.
You will need to be qualified to NVQ3 or above in Health and Social Care.
You will need to be a car driver, with your own vehicle.
You will need to have strong local geographical knowledge of the Portsmouth area.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £17-21,000 per annum.
Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00 working hours (with occasional on call)
20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
