ob Title: Employed Financial Advisor

Location: York

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 dependant on billing history

A highly reputable and long established IFA practice requires Employed Financial Advisers to help build the organisation, someone familiar with working in a regulated environment.

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to work within a great team of advisers whom offer full support.

You will be Level 4 qualified with CAS status and excellent relationship management skills.

Our Client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills who puts the clients first, making sure they receive the best possible advice.

Our client offers excellent benefits package and very competitive bonus scheme depending on billing history

You must also have the ability to build your own client bank through networking events e.t.c

Duties will Include:

Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises

Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims

Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services

Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation

Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments

Ensure sufficient client information obtained and analyse information gathered

Undertake sufficient product and market research in conjunction with Paraplanners

Assisting clients to make informed decisions

Promoting and selling financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets

Skills and Experience required:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills

Self-motivation and organization

The requisite generic financial services knowledge and level 4 qualification with cas status

Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s record keeping requirements

A good level of numeracy and IT skills

Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality
