Location: South East (Reigate, Surrey)
Home Based
Some travel mainly to London /conferences

Salary: £30k plus £10k bonus. £40k OTE

(All staff earned maximum bonus this year on company profitability, as both companies have just had record years in terms of both sales and profitability).

Duration: Permanent Full-time or Part-time (Pro-rata)

We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive to work with our two sister companies who specialise in H.R Turnaround and Transformation consultancy, mainly to the public sector. They have recently developed a software offering for these sectors too. Home based, location preference close to Reigate, Surrey

The Role:
You will be responsible for securing appointments for the product specialists to sell the companies bespoke range of Business Consultancy Services and Software to clients throughout the UK.

You will feel supported within this role while also gaining the freedom to develop your own strategy to effectively secure new appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure appointments with targeted key contacts from the contact database, in order that face-to-face meetings happen

  • Coordinate and monitor activity on sales plans before monthly sales meetings where you will meet and agree actions with the Sales Director

  • Monitor and support the contacts database

  • Prepare, chase and coordinate quoting activity

  • Produce press releases and LinkedIn profiles - working closely with the Finance Director to support this

  • Support marketing of new products

  • Direct selling as the role develops especially of software products

Applicants:

  • Experience working within a similar B2B role

  • Confident telephone skills speaking with prospective clients at all levels

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong grammar and writing skills

  • Self-starter who is enthusiastic, organised and focused

  • Initiative - ability to manage own work load, provide ideas and feedback to colleagues

  • Knowledge of the public sector would be desirable
