Position: Business Development (Sauces and Condiments)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Company bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-17:30

Adecco are excited to be working with a highly successful client within the FMCG industry who are looking to recruit a highly motivated Sales Executive to join their expanding team. Based in Liverpool, the company specialise in manufacturing and distributing their products widely across the wholesale and foodservice markets.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a continually advancing company whose highly skilled NPD technologists are always busy creating fresh, new recipes allowing the continual growth of the company.

About the role:
Working as part of their highly supportive sales team you will be responsible for developing and growing new and existing customer accounts, both regional and national with the aim of increasing sales and profitability for the company.

Main responsibilities will include:
* Dealing with strict customer demands whilst developing and maintaining long term customer relationships
* Working alongside other teams within the business to ensure targets are met
* Managing your own sales budget and timescales
* Providing sales and performance figures to the Sales Manager when called upon
* Building and developing relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring the customer is satisfied
* Understand and utilise market data and keep customers informed of market changes, providing advice and guidance
* Visit new and existing customers across the UK

*Please note the successful candidate must have experience selling sauces or condiments!*

The ideal candidate will be from a sales background with proven experience of winning new business who believes they can succeed in a fast paced, competitive market. Experience within the FMCG sector in essential and you should also possess the following qualities:

* Self motivated and able to work with initiative
* Confident and professional approach when liaising with customers
* A team player, with flexibility and the ability to adapt
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; an effective communicator across all levels of organisation.

A full UK Driving Licence is required.
