On behalf of our client we are seeking a Knowledge Officer, this is a full time and permanent role based in their offices in central Bristol. Within this role there will be travel to other offices based in England.
Based in the knowledge team, this team supports staff based in all offices by delivering their knowledge sharing strategy.
Members of the Knowledge team share responsibility for all aspects of service delivery, and collaborative working is key to their performance.
Key elements of the role include:
- Assisting in the implementation of knowledge sharing initiatives
- Collaboration with legal and support teams
- Maintenance of web-based information resources and in-house know-how databases
- Supporting lawyers in legal research
It is important that the person has a proactive, user-focused attitude to service delivery and understands the need to work in partnership with members of the team and the company for the benefit of their clients. You will have significant experience of working in a legal or commercial information service, involving provision of internal know-how systems, intranet pages and precedents. Ideally you will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant information or knowledge management discipline. In addition to this you are collaborative and have well developed IT and communication skills. You have a commitment to quality and you are user-focused, able to organise and manage your
work effectively and to work to deadlines.
