We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Distribution Operation. The role will require a large amount of drive and resilience. The successful candidate will need to have a strong attention to detail, be able to organise work load effectively and plan ahead. The applicant will need to be able to work well in a team as will be required to work as part of a team set up. The ideal candidate will work as part of the commercial team to book appointments with a view of securing new accounts. Excellent communication skills will be needed as the role will include various aspects of discussions with clients, assessing their needs and then making sure this information is passed onto other areas of the business to ensure the service delivered meets the client's expectations. Successful repeat business in the SME market will be needed to succeed in this role. Experience in the Transport or Logistics Industries is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be self- motivated and target driven as the main focus of the role is lead generation and sales calls. Applicants must have a basic understanding of IT.
