Title: Account Manager

Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 p.a Plus OTE
Location: Hertford
Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Our client is a fast moving and dynamic company with ambitious growth plans for 2017 and beyond!

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive Account Manager to join their vibrant sales support team. Specialising in providing support within the Recruitment / Contracting Sector, this position will offer a varied job role where 'No Two Days Will Be The Same’!

The successful applicant for this position will work closely with their business development and client services teams, and will be required to build strong relationships with both new and existing clients!

The successful candidate will have a hunger for learning and will be interested in developing their skills, with a view to secure a long-term successful career. This company are growing rapidly and this is your chance to grow with them….


· Compiling and explaining pricing analyses

· Handling queries from clients, contractors & prospects

· Providing solutions in a timely manner

· Accurate data entry & updating the CRM system

· Understanding client needs and identifying opportunities to cross-sell products

· Conducting sales calls to both new clients and lapsed clients

· Managing existing client accounts with a view to grow the business

· Raising questions with clients, suppliers and the sales team when necessary

Skills/experience required:

· A degree in a business-related subject would be desirable

· Previous account management/sales experience is a MUST!

· Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

· Excellent attention-to-detail and a keen eye for detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Able to rapidly establish good working relationships with customers, contractors and colleagues

· Good time-management and organisational skills

· Able to manage workload and priorities autonomously

· Able to work well in a team environment and towards strict targets

· The ability to take ownership of your work and to use initiative when needed

· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
