Permanent Management Accountant job in York.
Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are currently recruiting for successful public sector establishment located on the outskirts of York. Due to the growth of the Finance team this company are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Your new role
Within this role you will be completing the monthly management accounts and other reports as required for senior management including the review of income and costs against budget. You will be preparing accruals and prepayments, preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and managing the fixed asset register. You will be responsible for statutory reporting and compliance including year-end preparation and liaison with auditors.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or equally qualified by experience. Experience using Open Accounts would be beneficial. You will need excellent IT skills with the ability to develop models. This role would suit a self-starter who is looking to progress their career.
