As Head of Sales you will be the main cog of the sales process, responsible for overseeing all sales activities for the company and managing a portfolio of approximately 50 sales properties. The Head of Sales will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment dealing with the full sales process from start to finish. You must be a strong and resilient character who is a confident communicator and negotiator with the ability to resolve issues effectively within a timely manner, all while delivering exceptional levels of customer service and building strong client relationships. The Head of Sales must be self motivated, driven and have the ability to work independently.

You must have at least 4-5 years experience as a Sales Negotiator and ready to take that next step. The role will require an experienced property sales person to over-see the portfolio to build and retain valuable business. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within large corporate as well as independent estate agents. Key Responsibilities:

Convincing prospective clients that your agency is the right one to handle their sale and agree the terms

  • Responsible for completing valuations
  • Arranging advertising to promote the property
  • Sending out details of new properties on the market to people on your database
  • Making appointments and showing buyers around a property
  • Finding buyers in a position to proceed with purchase and willing to pay an acceptable price
  • Referring buyers to mortgage arrangers for quotations and advice
  • Daily & Monthly progress/income reports
  • Pipeline forecasting

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 4-5 years within residential property sales
  • Excellent market knowledge of local area
  • A clear passion for property and ideally experienced working in a varied marketplace, you will be driven to succeed and be a real team player.
  • Must be self motivated, driven and have the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of the full sales process from start to finish
  • Confident manner & a problem solver
  • Highly organised
  • Great communication skills; both written & verbal
  • UK driving license
