A new office based vacancy has arisen within this well respected broker for the role of SME Development Executive in Leicestershire to specialise in sales over the telephone. The role will involve sourcing, contacting and winning new business opportunities for the division. This will be completed through some cold-calling, some connected customers, referrals and any other way to obtain new leads.

The role will require the candidate once contact has been made to compile all presentations for insurers and then once terms are received, put them into a formal quotation to present to the customer. You will be speaking to customers and prospects on a daily basis, both via the telephone and over email. Once business has been secured, you will be responsible for setting this up on the system, chasing and issuing documentation and dealing with any queries the customer may have.

You will need to have experience of all classes of SME Commercial Insurance including Property, Liability, Motor and Combined. You will enjoy the thrill of sales and need an excellent telephone manner as well as being able to work well within a small team environment.
