The purpose of the Sales Manager role is to ensure the branch delivers a profitable first class service to our customers by supporting the Branch Manager in sales growth, margin growth, people management, people development and overhead cost management.

  • Take full responsibility for all aspects of sales, margin and customer service performance

  • Take full responsibility for sales and margin target achievement by the branch sales team

  • Daily management of core sales objectives of the telesales team (demand, drift, promotions, product mix, consumables, local penetration levels) using all sales tools provided

  • Train, develop and review the skills of your telesales team by utilising the company’s training programs

  • Performance manage individuals using training programs and support structures

  • Deliver daily synergies between your telesales team and the field sales representative

  • Communicate the route to achievement of both branch and company goals to your team, through regular team and individual meetings

  • Delegate and monitor relevant tasks to key staff members

  • Assist in the recruitment of new staff where necessary

  • Assist in any investigation procedures as required

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 1pm.
