An independent firm of accountants and business advisors based in Manchester city centre. This firm provides a wide range of services and solutions encompassing accountancy, business advisory and tax, for clients throughout the UK.

It is a young, ambitious and entrepreneurial firm with a vision to grow and expand to become a leading accountancy practice in the North West. They already boast an impressive list of clients from a variety of sectors, but with a primary focus on the Real Estate and Transaction markets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitable person to join the team as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager at the Manchester Office. You will be managing a portfolio of tax advisory projects and technical assignments, ensuring high quality standards in both delivery and client service throughout.

The portfolio typically comprises of UK owner managed businesses, and international high net worth clients in a range of sectors, with property being a key sector.

Dependent on your individual preference, the role can be tailored to include an active part in business development opportunities, proposals and networking.


Your duties will include:

  • Engagement scope and proposals;
  • Managing the client on-boarding process;
  • Drafting project reports and any supporting documents for partner review;
  • Liaising with clients where necessary;
  • Review of complex tax returns before presenting to clients;
  • Delivering a full range of tax services to the portfolio of clients highlighting any tax risks and how to manage them.


You will ideally be a qualified (ACCA, ACA, CTA, AAT or equivalent) Corporate Tax Associate who is looking for career progression, and a step up in terms of responsibility. You will have proven practice experience, excellent knowledge of tax, and strong technical skills. Part qualified, and those qualified by experience are also invited to apply.
