Operating Department Practitioner / ODP

Location: Lincolnshire

Salary: £21,000-£35,500 (£10.77-£18.21 per hour)

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs)

We are currently looking for highly motivated, experienced and passionate Operating Department Practitioner / ODP's to join a fabulous and committed Theatre Team at a very reputable private hospital in Lincolnshire. What you'll be doing:

  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will be functioning as an operating department practitioner in all clinical areas of the department.
  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will deliver individualised clinically appropriate, efficient and effective evidence based nursing care for patients on a shift to shift basis.
  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will act as a professional resource for nursing support staff
  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will undertake the role of supervisor for these individuals, working in support of the staff in the discharge of their duties and facilitating the use of evidence based practice, patient assessment, clinical analytical skills and patient early warning systems.

What you'll need:

  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will have experience of scrubbing for a variety of procedures.
  • As Operating Department Practitioner / ODP you will be HCPC registered
  • You will have awareness of Clinical Governance Framework
  • You will have knowledge of Health & Safety / Infection Control
