Full-time Payroll Technician
Novia Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the South West’s leading independent groups of Chartered Accountants. They offer professional and friendly advice on all aspects of accounting, accounts preparation, tax and audit as well as more technical services including: Business Recovery and Insolvency, Forensic Accounting, Tax Consultancy, Corporate Finance and Elite Payroll.
This role involves a varied allocation of client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly and monthly) and will be required to complete a full payroll process. This will include:
- Starters and leavers
- Accurate calculation of PAYE and national insurance deductions
- Statutory absence payments
- Completion of the end of year documentation
Excellent communication skills are essential as the role is very client focused and the ability to work under pressure will also be required.
A hands on approach is important as is being able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of all Payroll activities. Client confidence is paramount and so working to tight deadlines will be a priority when necessary.
Outlook, Excel and word are essential
Experience and knowledge of Payroll bureau systems will be an advantage however further training will be given.
