Team & Role Description

This is an entry level position to join our Procurement team. The role involves developing relationships with our main suppliers as well as maintaining, processing and purchasing their records within the Advanced Group.

Role Responsibilities

In this fast paced and challenging role you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Provide supplier quotes for customer requirements to sales and pre-sales colleagues
  • Preparing and generating Purchase Orders for suppliers
  • Process Supplier renewals and ensure renewals are always reconciled to our corresponding revenue streams, by keeping accurate records of revenue against cost
  • Resolve queries regarding Invoices received from our Suppliers
  • Expediting quotes, orders and query resolutions
  • Communicate with colleagues to resolve errors, and handover inaccuracies.
  • Control the receipt, storage and withdrawal of all controlled documents and master copies (i.e; signed contracts, requests for change etc.
  • Developing and maintaining Management Reports about Suppliers, reporting on Margins, Trends, Gains, Losses

  • Willingness to learn our internal systems, and to alternate between data processing tasks and problem solving, to more complex management reporting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines, without compromising accuracy
  • Articulate and able to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Willingness to assist other colleagues in various administrative tasks when required
