This leading Consultancy requires an experienced Pensions Consultant to be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes for several of their clients.

Working closely with a number of clients, you will attend meetings with them, have a good working knowledge of the client’s rules and be aware of current issues that may impact benefit structure and administrative processes. You will take responsibility for client standard documents and ensure these are kept up to date and in line with current legislation. You will also be tasked with identifying areas for cost savings and suggest improvements to the client lead / partner.
You will be checking / reviewing complex cases completed at administrator level and be able to undertake highly complex cases for review by client lead / partner and show an awareness of current legislative issues that may impact these complex cases and ensure they are completed in line with procedures and client specific rules.
You will be working with a bespoke Pensions Administration system and be able to suggest and implement efficiencies and in conjunction with the support team specify, test and program benefit calculations and the setting up of standard reports in line with the standard approach.
