Some of the duties for this role will include:

• Calculation of monthly accruals, prepayments, depreciation, rebates payable and receivable.
• Monthly Balance Sheet review and control reconciliations
• Production of monthly management accounts and review with Company Director.
• Monthly Sales reporting including sales stream analysis, profit margin by customer and review with Ops and Sales Managers.
• Assisting with Auditors, HMRC and VAT, completing monthly payroll, quarterly VAT returns and year end procedures and audit.
• Required to manage Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger

Essential requirements for this role:

• Part - Qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, Qualified by experience will be considered particularly for candidates who can demonstrate strong systems expertise.
• Ideally Sage 50 knowledge, but similar accounting package acceptable.
• Advanced Excel is essential - Must demonstrate ability to manipulate large volumes of data using pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Sage Payroll an advantage.
• Advanced Bookkeeping experience and knowledge.
