This vaping shop is looking to recruit an experienced ecommerce website manager to fully manage the day to day running of their online store. To be considered for this position it is essential that you have experience of managing an online store using an ecommerce platform such as Magento and Shopify. Online marketing skills are also required as you will be responsible for the marketing of the online store using methods such as social networking, blogging and organic SEO.

Main Duties:

- Using Shopify and Magento to process orders placed online within the set time limits to ensure products are dispatched with the next available courier service.
- Being responsible for the day to day management of the website including adding new products (writing product descriptions, setting up related products, formatting product images and addition of SEO tags), stock level management and ensuring any technical issues are resolved to ensure that customers are able to place orders.
- Managing stock levels and processing orders on third party websites such as eBay and Amazon
- Taking orders over the telephone ensuring that the order contains the correct items, that distribution details are correct and that the payment clears with a low fraud risk before items are dispatched.
- Creation of weekly email newsletters and email updates throughout the month.
- Creation of material to be used for marketing including press packs, magazine and newspaper advert content and leaflet content and layout.
- Creation of new pages and content on the website to help with SEO rankings, this includes pages based around product and location specific keywords.
- Writing regular posts for the company blog focusing on keywords to help with search engine rankings.
- Creation and implementation of promotions on the website which includes creating website banners, setting the promotion up on the website to automatically start on the required date, creating social networking updates via Hootsuite, writing a blog and creating a newsletter update.
- Updating social networking pages with new information, promotions, sales and responding to enquiries.
- Collation of daily and monthly sales figures.
- Answering telephone calls
- Providing technical support for products to customers and distributors to resolve issues
- Responding to all customer enquiry emails as quickly as possible.

Requirement of the role:

- Experience of managing an online store using an ecommerce platform (Shopify and Magento) is essential as this is the main function of the role.
- Knowledge of CMS systems.
- Experience of copy writing including website content, blogs and articles.
- Experience of Search Engine Optimisation techniques.
- Customer service experience.
- Technical coding skills including HTML advantageous although not compulsory.
- Experience with Photoshop
