Your new role
As the Finance Officer focusing on income you will compile and submit grant claims adhering to EU guidance and regulations, maintain the sales ledger, input levy received, monitor and update Work in Progress calculating accruals, and prepare monthly balance sheet schedules. Further to this you will deal with internal and external audit queries, carry out various reconciliations and prepare and post journals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a dependable, self-starter with impressive organisation skills and the ability to work with little supervision following training. From previous accounting experience you will be knowledgeable of utilising accounting software. Grant claim administration would enhance your application but is not a requirement as this can be trained. The client is seeking a motivated individual who is ideally studying or beginning their studies towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
