An established manufacturing firm based in Sheffield are looking to recruit a Purchase and Sales Ledger clerk to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Working within a large finance team you will be responsible for accurately processing the purchase ledger, and ensuring the payment of supplier is on-time
your main duties will be:
Matching, batching and processing purchase ledger invoices between 50-100 a day
Managing and promptly responding to supplier queries and resolving any issues
Assisting with the month end payment runs
Identifying overdue invoices and following up with the client and internal team where necessary
Weekly supplier statement reconciliations
Maintaining client accounts
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent and relevant experience within Purchase and Sales Ledger
Ideally you will have excellent working knowledge of excel - including pivot tables and V lookups
