Sales Operations Manager - Manchester area.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an expanding Worldwide engineering business.
You will be a strong leader with a vast amount of management/leadership experience and skills. Ideally coming from a background of Customer Support and Operations. You MUST have experience of an ERP (SAP/Oracle).
My client Engineer & Manufacture bespoke automation machinery into the Pharmaceutical & Medical industries.
You will be managing the Sales Order Management team. My client is looking for someone from a Sales Operations / Customer Support background with customer interaction. Someone who is used to dealing with Internal & External customers.
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing and managing a highly responsive and customer centric team
Motivating & Getting the best out of the team
A minimum of 7 years business experience is required, preferably in a fast-paced, complex customer service environment.
Managing contact with customers before and after the sale
Pre-sale support activities include: Responding to customer inquiries, assisting with quoting, and aligning on commercial strategy with Sales and Sales Operations.
Post-sale support activities include: Responding to customer inquiries (returns, status, delivery, etc.), researching and collaborating with other departments to find resolution for problems related to items such as shipping or invoicing.
Communicating with other departments/teams within the company (UK & Overseas)
Dealing directly with clients and handling issues
ERP Experience (Oracle, SAP, Etc…)
Sales Order Administration experience
Strong Leaderships skills
Management qualification would be beneficial
