OneFamily are looking for a highly experienced, black belt qualified Finance Operations Technical Manager (who may also have financial services or CASS experience) to work in this fantastic new cross functional role at our site in central Brighton.

Purpose of Role:

To provide technical support to the Financial Operations teams.

To undertake quality / technical reviews within the team.

To manage operational risk within Finance

To champion continuous improvement across Finance in general and within Financial Operations in particular, in order to deliver efficiency gains, help facilitate change within Finance and to help build a centre of excellence culture within the department.

Skills, knowledge & experience:


Accountancy qualification (ACA / CIMA etc)

Continuous improvement experience (ideally Lean / 6 sigma black belt qualification)

Strong excel and report writing skills

Ability to critically assess, analyse and interpret data and information and display good judgement to solve problems

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong organisational skills


Knowledge of Financial services

Knowledge of investment accounting / reconciliations / Client monies / Client assets

Note: knowledge of OF systems (e.g. V3, FI V5, PO V5, Flame, CoStars, CDB, LISA) and products (e.g. FI ISA, JISA, CTF, PO ISA, Bonds, Unit Trusts and all participating Funds) an advantage but not essential.

Experience of:

Reconciliation processes, ideally in a financial services environment
Reviewing processes and controls

Writing processes and procedures

Risk management

Change management and continuous improvement

Working collaboratively at all levels across teams
