Finance Analyst - Supply Chain
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dynamic CIMA/ ACCA qualified Finance Analyst to join a highly successful, fast growing business in East Yorkshire for an initial 12 month contract. You will work pro actively within the management accounting team to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision to deliver precise results to stakeholders.
The Finance Analyst will have a significant amount of responsibility for weekly and monthly reporting and as such you will need strong Excel skills. Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare of weekly MI reporting and periodic financials
- Prepare operational budgets and forecasts for multiple cost centres, with detailed explanations of the drivers and variances re prior years
- Pro-actively analysing costs and making necessary adjustments
- Monthly business reviews with site managers and third party suppliers to drive efficiencies
- Review and analyse internal risks
- Stock accounting and adjustments including monitoring pricing
- Various ad hoc projects
The Finance Analyst role is a fundamental part of this team and will require you to have regular contact with the wider business and external parties - this could be operational managers, internal supply chain teams or external suppliers. Therefore a confident personality is essential as you will need to be able to speak to and meet with a range of people.
A pre requisite for the Finance Analyst is to be qualified ACCA / CIMA with 1 -3 years experience. You will have worked previously in a fast moving environment, using your astute analytical skills with attention to detail and be pragmatic in your approach. This business wants a candidate with a passion to grow and learn with them. Knowledge and experience of SAP would be an advantage.
