Sales Team Leader

Working as a Team Leader you will be demonstrating authentic leadership to a team of approximately 10 specialist sales advisors. You will be responsible for creating a bold and dynamic customer centric environment through pro-active coaching and continuous improvement. You will be confident in guiding your team’s performance to achieve business targets and supporting their on-going development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of front line of brightside agents customer representatives to provide exceptional internal & external customer service, and to maintain high levels of team motivation and morale.
  • Build positive relationships across the team; creating an environment that facilitates strong performance and increases profitability. You will regularly meet and communicate with your team to engage and motivate them as individuals to achieve specific and agreed targets.
  • You will be accountable for monitoring & managing performance to keep your team on track, recognising achievements and tackling underperformance. You will coach and develop to equip your team with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to increase capability and raise performance standards/targets.
  • It will be your responsibility to stay up to date with new initiatives to interpret and pass on new product/technical/customer and organisational developments and cascade this to your team.

Person Specification

  • Experience of people management within an inbound/outbound Call Centre with experience of and providing excellent Customer Service.
  • It would be preferable for you to have experience in Insurance Services, Financial Services or a regulated environment.
  • It is important that you are proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to analyse and covert large volumes of data into trend and recommendation reporting.
  • It would be an definite advantage for you to have a working knowledge of continuous improvement techniques, workforce management tools and how to interpret TCF principals into business as usual processes.
  • You will have demonstrable examples of how you can confidently show the following behaviours: team building, coaching, coordinating and leadership.
