Corporate Golf Sales Manager

Location: Chipping Norton

Salary: £30,000 per annum

The role is hours as required with a minimum of 160 hours per 4 week period covering 5 out of 7 days

About the company

Set in 440 acres of stunning Oxfordshire countryside our client boasts two individual hotels including Crowne Plaza. The two hotels provide over 350 bedrooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities for up to 450 delegates plus 4 bars and 4 restaurants. Also located at the Resort is an 18 hole championship standard golf course and a Health Club with spa treatment rooms.

Our client is currently seeking a Corporate Golf Sales Manager.

Key Accountabilities of the Corporate Golf Sales Manager

  • Responsible for generating and managing all Corporate Golf enquiries and Golf Society enquiries
  • Organizing appointments for initial show rounds and follow up
  • Ensuring all enquiries are followed up to actively convert provisional reservations into confirmed bookings
  • Ensuring that contracts are issued and final details confirmed and communicated to the venue team
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with new and existing clients
  • To achieve set revenue targets as outlined by Director of Sales and to implement a continuous succession of pipeline business.
  • Complete face to face appointments and networking events as required by the Company.
  • Account management of key accounts to ensure maximum revenue potential for the Resort and revenue growth as per agreed targets.

Requirements of the Corporate Golf Sales Manager

  • The ideal candidate will have previous Corporate Golf Sales experience, preferably with a working knowledge of a hospitality operating system.
  • You must be able to meet deadlines and have an excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisation skills with an attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends and economic factors is essential.
  • A good level of both written and verbal communication is necessary.
  • A high degree of self motivation is required as the successful candidate will work both independently and as part of the sales team.
  • This role will be based at the resort but will require regular travel and all candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
