Commercial Analyst, based in West End, paying up to £50k

Our Marketing Services client is recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to join their Commercial team. The success or our client over the past 6 years is unparalleled and is an excellent home for an ambitious, dynamic finance individual.

Main Responsibilities

- Cost plus and activity based costing methods to construct client ratecards. - - Understanding of internal cost drivers.
- Competitor analysis and Cost comparison of rival pricing strategies and rates
- Review of client contracts such as NDA and MSA and involvement in the negotiation of these
- Providing pricing solutions for new business RFP, incorporating bonus schemes and volume discounts.
- Analysing Client P n L and providing commentaries and analysis into financial position. Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Client reporting. creating reporting frameworks and models that delivered monthly or quarterly reports to client SLAs
- Helping the billing and management accounts in reporting revenue and recognition process
- Timesheet analysis and resource reconciliation to client retainer fees

Experience Required

- Prior experience of working within a similar commercial analyst position, ideally from within an agency or media business environment.
- Strong financial and mathematical acumen, with degree-level qualifications within a relevant subject.
- Experience of data and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and advanced Excel skills (
- Inspiring presentation skills and clear communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Admirable administration and organisational skills with an ability to approach more basic tasks with equal enthusiasm.
