An exciting opportunity has developed within Allied Healthcare for a Finance and Central Treasury Manager to join our vibrant finance team based at our Head Office.  The Finance and Treasury Manager will lead the company’s financial accounting / control activities and ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice whilst managing the day to day treasury function, RBS operational relationship and the regular reporting of all cash management activities.
RESPONSIBILITES
•    Management of Audit, Banking and Group day to day relationships ensuring compliance and controls with all associated reporting systems.
•    Assist in the preparation and production of the Statutory Accounts to FRS102 for all Allied entities.
•    Production of the consolidated inter-company/inter-group investments and provision of all data to support the Notes to the Accounts.
•    Responsible for the balance sheet / cash reporting for the Group for the MI, Budget, Plan & Forecast.
•    Management of the property portfolio ensuring the lease provisions are in line with best practice.
•    Manage the daily treasury and the Cashier in all banking activities including reporting.
•    Line management of two Financial Accountants.
•    Prepare and maintain the profit / loss and balance sheet on a monthly basis, including all journal preparation and postings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•    Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in both core financial management/treasury roles.
•    Excellent technical skills with a good understanding of complex entity reporting.
•    Proven track record in robust financial controls and delivering innovative improvement initiatives.
•    Business Partner approach, with the ability to speak with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues.
•    Hands on approach to all work streams.
