French speaking Localisation Editor

A world famous company is looking for a French speaking localisation editor to start in early June 2017. This is a full time 6-month fixed term contract. My client's European office is in west London.

You should possess:

- native language skills in French and be fluent in English
- over 2 years experience in editing publishing experience
- ability to multi-task, handle deadlines and be organised
- work with other colleagues as a team
- strong IT skills/be technically minded; not only with Word and Excel but also be familiar with editing programs
- willing to learn new IT softwares/programs

Duties & Responsibilities:
- content editing
- editing of translated materials
- communicate effectively with translators and other colleagues/staff
- proofread and revise texts in French and English
- report to management
