We are currently recruiting a qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA) to join a well-known retailer in South London as a Senior Retail Finance Analyst. This is a permanent position and the client will pay a competitive basic salary and offer a generous benefits package (including bonus).

Reporting into the Retail Finance Manager, the successful candidate will provide critical financial information and analysis to the wider Retail team, enabling them to deliver company targets and drive profitability. This is an analytical role that will require you to provide detailed and insightful analysis on performance and trends and to business partner with the Retail Operations and Retail Distribution teams. As such, the successful candidate will be analytically minded and possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills – you will be required to attend and present at monthly meetings and to build close working relationships with stakeholders.

Key tasks and accountabilities will include the following: trend analysis, performance reporting, pro-active analysis of actual and future performance of regions, controlling retail budgets, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, production and ownership of company’s retail KPI bonus model and ad hoc analysis across the wider Retail Finance team.

In order to be considered for this role, you must be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA) with a passion for retail finance, an advanced knowledge of Excel and exceptional interpersonal skills. Any retail finance or analytical experience is highly beneficial and experience working with non-finance colleagues is highly desirable.
