Working Hours: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday (with some late evenings,weekend & Bank Holiday duty on a rota basis )
Salary: From £18,238 to £22,190

Fairlie Healthcare Ltd. has leading specialist nursing homes for people with long-term neurological conditions which include prolonged disorder of consciousness (PDoC) and long-term dependence upon mechanical ventilation. Fairlie Healthcare provides tailored neuro-disability management for a variety of neurological deficits such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, degenerative neurological disorders and long-term neuro-respiratory conditions. Specialist clinical services are provided by multi-professional teams.
We are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join our team based at Fairlie House in West Norwood.
The postholder will be responsible for providing leisure and recreational activities for patients with neurological disabilities and illnesses. They will use a variety of meaningful activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, dance, drama, music and community outings to improve and maintain the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of patients.
Applicants must have GCSE level or equivalent and have experience of working within a team in a health and social care setting and be able to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of a range of cultural events. Knowledge about neurological conditions and experience of working with those who have physical disability is desirable.
