Job Title: Telesales Executive

Hours: Full time Mon-Fri

Location: Leeds centre

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 DOE


My client are a leading multi-national energy company based in the centre of Leeds. Offering a competitive salary, great training and development as well as a brilliant working environment; our client are currently seeking professional and engaging Telesales Executives to join a newly formed department.

The main aim of this role is to work alongside the sales team covering all administration aspects to the role. You will facilitate all functions of the department, documentation, data, administration. You will do this accurately making sure you prioritise and work to deadlines.

The main purpose of this role is to contact potential customers via telephone to sell gas and electricity contracts along with other related services. Alongside this you will also be collating and recording customer data and information to strategically gather market information to improve market research.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working towards sales targets to include call rates, lead generation and contract sales

  • Contribute towards the delivery of the team and organisational sales targets

  • To sell gas and electricity supplier contracts and other services to customers ensuring KPI’s are achieved

  • To generate leads and arrange appointments for the Field Sales team where necessary

  • Update the systems accordingly

  • Develop knowledge of the industry through interaction with clients and developing relationships

    Skills required:

  • Educated to a minimum of A-Level standard

  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages

  • Effective communication skills

  • Be able to adapt to new processes and using systems

  • Ability to manage own workload

  • Time management skills

  • Self-motivated

  • A Team Player

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Able to meet targets and deadlines and work in a sales environment
